Trading cards!

I find it interesting that as i was reading through this thread i got another trading card. (game was idling in the background).

I really like the style of it. I would love to see more art like this for beam.

 

I hope this idea doesn't go downhill and turn BeamNG into another of those games where it can only be fun with purchase of DLC, because then everyone would be sad.
But yeah, if that doesn't happen I think these are a great idea!

You don't "win" cards. You get them from just playing.

I have no experience with trading cards before. Do booster packs actually drop sometimes after I'm out of my free drops? Also I sold 3 of my first cards, so I could buy more after prices drop a little

I bought some cards and yesterday I completed my Carbon-Fiber badge. Are there going to be more levels or should I sell my leftover cards?

 

since the system is still in its early stage i guess its better to hold on to those cards

 

How many levels are there ? I mean numbers :v

 

The are 5 levels for BeamNG.drive badge and last one is Carbon Fiber. That is if I understood correctly how things work

 

What were the Steam backgrounds that you unlocked with the badges? I heard there were some but I haven't seen any or know what's on them.

 

Ahhh, just got 700ish hours, and have 4 cards. Haven't sold any, haven't bought any, haven't touched them.

 

Every time I crafted a badge, I got three items - discount coupon for other game, BeamNG related chat icon(some were duplicate, I have three unique ones now) and Steam background. My first two backgrounds were duplicate, Ibishu 200bx. I also have Bolide background which is said to be rare and Burnside background which is uncommon. I think the last one was Moonhawk, but I'm not 100% sure, because I exchanged it for 80 gems.

What the background is - it's a picture of a car taken from front, one side of it is crashed, second one is okay.
It's quite a dark picture, as a background should be

It annoys me that you can only categorize the steam market search with only an select few games. I wan't to look at the beamng items.
