Back on topic. Dkutch you really should put some more love on the interior. This car deserves some love. If I knew how to modify these dae files well I'd touch it up myself. When I get home later I'm gonna do some experiments and try to learn some stuff. http://static.cargurus.com/images/s..._cherokee_laredo-pic-5223584262087640341.jpeg
Why is everyone so afraid of that word. I have had this same arguement with someone else. I would be more mad of how he was kinda a jerk to the other guy. When someone says "faggot" they aren't really using it in a homophibic way. I think this is the video, but I'm not sure, because ads have hijacked my chrome so bad that I can't even play youtube videos any more.
I know it needs it, but right now I've been working on the Datsun. Kind of lost interest in the jeep for now, sorry. I don't think Jesus would appreciate you name dropping him in your "faggot" post...
Get the adblock extension. It is quite effective on youtube too (although a few ads have slipped through on youtube, most are blocked at least, much more pleasant experience).
Love it so much! My only suggestion is to make the engine a bit more powerful. Other than that, amazing!
Aww, why you seem like an angry little bugger! The Jeep is pretty good, I like it. Fun to drive over different terrains.
it has some Torque issues (increase the Torque) - - - Updated - - - it has some Torque issues (increase the Torque)
It can almost pull itself up a vertical incline. What differential are you using and what wheel size?
My only comment would be that in 1994 the ZJ (& ZG in Australia) had a 5.2 Magnum and not a 5.9 Magnum. And it handles fairly close to my worn out 1997 real life ZJ.
I love the direction it's heading. A little more flex would go a long way. It's way too stiff and doesn't grip well. It's sliding all over the place on rock. While I know this happens to an extent IRL, it shouldn't happen as much as it does here. Also, softening up the suspension will prevent roll-overs from happening as frequently.
I am still having that stupid issue with the body panels not being double-sided (I had searched again through the thread, and someone had the same issue, and they could see the panels from the interior, which is the same for me.) So, even if there is no fix for this, because I have updated the game, re-installed the Jeep, and I can't get rid of the problem, I came up with a very mediocre-looking way to fix it: I made the interior double-sided in the material editor, and it came up with this black cover. It looks horrible, but at least it is symmetrical and it is not just a floating window and a rollcage. Dkutch, if you have a solution to this, or if there is a recommendation that you have that I can follow to make this look any better, I would love to hear it. Lastly, if this is just a graphics card issue (FYI, I have an Intel(R) HD 4000 Graphics, good for a school tablet), I am getting a brand new gaming PC for Christmas, and an uber sweet card with it, so then it could be fixed.
The problem is the object names I gave it. They're too generic, so I think they have conflict issues with other things the people may have installed. I've just been too lazy to fix it. :\
Do you know which objects they are? And if I am very new to Jbeam (I have been able to add thrusters to some cars, so that's something I guess), but would the solution be very hard to do myself? If the names just have to be changed, do they have to be changed to something specific?
the actual part names would have to be changed in blender, then you'd have to update the jbeams with the new part names
When I get my PC running again I'll probably try to fix up the interior some. Absolutely love the jeep it really deserves some tweaks.
In that case, unless if that is a very simple process, as in, I don't have to search through 470 menus to fix it, I probably will not be able to do it.
well, provided you have the latest version of blender, it should just be on the right: (imported from here)
Well, I shall see. I may be able to do it. The only fallback that I have is that my tablet has no NumPad, and my monitor isn't very big, so the workspace is cramped for me, and I have to use a mouse for the camera (which I can't really complain about). Edit: I feel like a genius. I got it, but now everything besides the body is white. Edit again: The textures just reset, I just need to reload them, I think. One more edit: I got it!
