They have done several cars now (I like it but) can they now conzentrate on the actual game. If you look in the blook you only see cars but nothing from the actual game.

How is it that a few million cells could come together to rightfully call themselves a human head, yet function so poorly together?

Tdev and Estama have been putting in 12 hour days for the past couple of months coding features and fixing bugs. There's a lot more going on under the hood. We're not one person that can only work on one thing at a time. They work on the code, I make vehicles, and LJFHutch makes terrains.

there are sevenral issues here I want to address

    1. No beta has been confirmed
    2. BeamNG is a long way off release, the project hasn't been going that long and the dev team is tiny
    3. Your insolent remarks are not going to earn you much favor on this forum.
    4. You are far from a position to effectively insult anyone's intellect.
    5. I wish to kindly request that you grow-the-████-up.

Actually, I think a dev confirmed that there would be a demo before the game release (i believe it was tdev) in some demo thread.

I haven't seen a confirmation to be honest, as much as I like to keep tabs on the dev team's every move its not possible once the forum reaches a certain magnitude without it becoming intrusive in regards to my life. If they've confirmed a beta, then all the beta :D

    Look here:

    Read tdev's reply :D

So do you really think you're smart? If you make a thread with the following subject 'start making the beta', please accept that people think you're a moron. The devs are working really, really hard on this and all you are saying is to hurry up? I can't believe this. Please do some research and get your facts right before you post rediculous, useless threads. God, how stupid can people actually be on this planet nowadays?

Actually, there are 4 people working on this with each a specific task. Gabester is working on the cars. And no, there aren't really many cars yet (Only 5 in-game). And if Gabe would stop making these, the game problably wouldn't get finished sooner.

If you think doing 'proper' beta testing is like playing a complete game, playable, fun and all that, think again. I'll assume those people who beg for beta never actually do Beta testing. You won't get any beta soon if you can't even make a good and well thought out replies. The first beta, which is the closed beta, is a long and tedious work, you're exactly correct, the beta isn't perfect, it's full of bugs that will annoy the hell out of testers. Devs will select only a few quality members who actually have knowledge and patience to do these, and people who ask for beta release date won't get into a first beta testing because it just show that you don't have either of those.

I guess your meaning of beta and mine just isn't the same really.

Yes, not like a free game for 30min but more like 2 cars, 2 maps. And he said maybe maybe not.

beta testing isn't as bad as you make out. If you encounter a bug then your job is successful. You record it, collect all data, try replicate it. See what you can learn about the bug, maybe even see if you can fix it if you feel like it. Afterward you can then package the data along to the developers and continue testing. If the software you test interests you greatly then its not a problem, it can be quite an enjoyable experience.

There are only a few people working on this cut them some slack they could just stop making the game completely but you're too greedy to accept the fact that they need more time!

Maybe it isn't as bad as I make out, but it isn't as good as your make out either, if the devs want this game to satisfy everyone. Beta testing is just like what you've said, except that it's not really fun, even if you interested in the contents. It would take a really big anorak to be able to have the same 'fun' as playing the actual game. And if you aren't an anorak and you're having fun with beta testing, it's either that you haven't really done much in term of testing or it's a public beta (aka Demo), the former will get you kick out if the devs are strict and the latter I believe is still in the far future.

(Then again a lot of people on the internet is an anorak).
