That looks like a Crewcab F-150 from the era but with the bed totally removed and replaced by a trunk.
The last one was made in 2003 in mexico, and that's only because car safety in mexico is more of a suggestion than a requirement.
It actually got slashed not because of safety standards but because a law in Mexico was passed in 2003 which required taxis to have four doors (which the Beetle didn't). So production would've kept going probably.
Jesus christ. Do you reckon we'd still have a watercooled rear engined beetle nowadays had that law not been passed?
Ehh, I prefer that it's gone, after they absolutely destroyed all the good models with their crappy late nineties stuff. I've been in a real Pontiac though... Aka 83 Grand Prix hotrod owned by my grandfather, so I respect the brand, but it's best gone.
Crappy? What are you talking about? The 90's Firebird doesn't seem that bad to me. I like the design of it, same being said for the Camaro.
The later T2 bus aka kombi that were last produced here in brasil, had a water cooled vw fox (brazilian one) engine, so it wasnt that air cooled anymore, they were mostly ment for cargo and deliveryng kids in school and for transport, like buses but mini: They went out of production because there was no way to adapt airbags and ABS They had radiators and all: OT: 8° generation of the toyota sprinter, 10th generation of the nissan skyline, all of the cars from JDM from the '70s '80s and '90 and early '00
