I just remembered this mod. I shameless ask to see it get updated to the new powertrains. I wanna see this thing with lockable diffs!
Hello, We've been enjoying your mod for a while mainly for the fire truck, but recently the blue light bar disappeared and I'm hoping you can help us get it back. I tried deleting (through the Mods window) and re-installing the ETK6000 mod but no change. In the vehicle config page the blue light bar is selected, and even when I hover the mouse over it, it does not show on the screen. BeamNG should be up to date (auto-updates is turned on through Steam). Do you have any ideas what else we can try?
Bump, please dont bump on dead threads. Limit time for dead thread is 1 month. Anyway its broken due to 0.9 update.
I love this truck! Some (Constructive) feedback: The Tow Packages..... They are too high to the ground. You can't get anything on them. Also, sleeper cab. Need it. Also, maybe a plow that is available?
The post by Fireman_Zack wasn't quite a bump. A bump has to be something redundant or uninformative. Reporting a broken mod is not bumping
This mod is so perfect... but it is kinda outdated with no lockable diffs which is a pitty :C Oh and we need somekind of rear reciever for dolly trailers like a T-series has. Is this dead or will it be updated sooner or later?
what's this thing called 'bump' and why is it such a big deal? there's a lot of old mods and threads that almost deserve to be brought back... if nobody touches a thread for a month does it really have to be condemned? OT: this is a great mod that would greatly benefit from updating. if the owner has left or hasn't been seen in a few months, can't someone else do it?
A "bump" is when someone comments on an old thread and brings it back up to the top of the forum. With many of the people here having never used a forum before, or being young, they usually neglect to read the thread or look at the dates of the comments before adding a comment. Bringing an old thread to the top also makes it look like it's being worked on, when often times the mod is dead. The ones that are a month old aren't really bumps. When people call those ones bumps, it's mostly newer forum members trying to be useful, but they jump the gun and can be pretty rude to a new member. The real problem is when a thread hasn't been touch for a long time, like 6 months. I should also clarify that if someone brings up an old post again, it isn't usually considered a bump if their comment contributes to the thread instead of being the annoying "ur mod doesn't work! fix nao!" comments that you'll usually see. As for this mod, Ky (the author) has on his profile that he's been busy with work IRL, and that's why he hasn't been able to work on this.
I understand its annoying to see your favorite mod back at the top,get hyped, and click only to find out it's a kid saying 'cool mod' but it's also pointless to complain about it being bumped... rather than saying bump, why not contribute then? (like you did) yes, I seen Ky stated to be busy but was still active a month ago. and in that case it'd be totally unfair and rude for anyone else to do anything with his mod... but for mods from users who haven't been active for say, 1 year, can't these be taken over by people who can fix and update them? without having to necessarily obtain permission I mean. absolutly not the case here, but mod abandonment is a crime... continues: Spoiler: explanation look at it this way: you have a cat, a pretty independent one, so it can be fine on its own for quite a while... (like a mod) even if something happens(like an update) it can still be ok... it might get hurt(stop working) or not... but ok... if you have never let it out(release), the neighbors don't know it, but if you have, they know and may actually like it. now, for whatever reason you leave and all your cats are left behind, poor little things... if you were out for a week, even a month or two, it's understandable to be angry that someone took your cat, specially if they knew you were coming back... they could maybe have taken care(update)if it got hurt, but not take it away...(re-release) however, if you were away for almost a year or more out and no neighbor knew whether you were coming back or not... wouldn't it be reasonable that some of them may take care of some of the cats you left behind? specially if it got hurt while you were gone?
I'd like to address the following issue, currently one of the models is giving me problems which is the firefighter model to be exact, as soon i start making turns the steering breaks, please i'd like to see it fixed whenever is possible thank you
As Teoman said, this hasn't worked for a while, but I'm sure that the author, Ky, will appreciate the polite bug report when he finds time to work on this again . Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to work on this for some time because he's busy with things in real life, notably work. According to his profile, he was last on the forums July 2nd, so he hasn't been here for quite some time now.
I thought of a to do list for you, dev: 1.Fix the tire--cabin welding issue, it is really annoying when not playing with wheel and steering too hard. 2.Add more varients like ambulance, police road block/pursue truck, tow truck, hill climb with big wing, etc. 3.Make some dually tire varients. 4.Make a mid engined race truck varient That is my list that I wished you will do in the future.
