A modern Civetta!

Pardon the reused screenshots, I'm currently on a phone. This thread will be cleaned up and recieve more information later, but for now I just wanted to quickly make a thread for this car so all the conversation did not have to happen on Development Screenshots.

The amount of polygons will definitely need scaling down due to it being a Forza model.

This is going to be so cool! A 458 based car. but as said by thetraxxasmaniacs, make it more original. Base beamng drive cars are a mixture of cars.
Also, do you have configs planned?

 

Why would it be called an ETK? ETK is a german brand

It's using a medium poly, free, 3D model, so the poly count is already pretty reasonable.

Civetta Velocità sounds... cringeworthy...

Civetta Dardo

Civetta Celer

Civetta Ethos

I don't think it's cringeworthy. I think it's a fitting name.

If I was to name the car, I'd would go with the real car's method of naming. Here's the name I came up with a while ago: Civetta 570 Romano.

 

According to Google Translate, "Velocità" means "Speed". So the car is called, IIRC, "Owl Speed"

 

It sounds good in English. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

As a semi-native speaker, I do. "Velocità" sounds a bit cheap.
