Mod Creating

    I want to make an edit of a car in beamng, but I don't know how ill do it. Is there a software I need to create these mods? what do I do?

    Here's the basic list of things you need.

    1: Blender, or any other 3D modeling software

    2: Notepad++ or any other text editor

    3: Knowledge of using Blender and knowledge of Lua

    4: Patience, and a lot of it.

    If you're going to use the Blender JBeam exporter, DO NOT use SketchUp to model your car, import into Blender, and then export as a JBeam. Trust me, personal experience. There's also a very good wiki artical about this very thing, but I can never find it without a link.

    Right, now I have a Question... how do you use Blender or Lua. first of all, I have no idea what Lua is and Blender is pretty far from my knowledge. I got the patience but I'm just missing the whole concept. keep in mind I'm running an HP (windows) Laptop. kinda crappy on the processor but I got two terrabytes of space just dying to be filled. I love computers AND cars and id like to know how to create cars ON the computer, any ways I hope someone out there can help me.
