WIP Beta released FR17 (2018 update) 1.4.1

if you not using steering wheel is hard to control, but i know that and every car has ESC (Ctrl+Q), turn it in sport mode and you can drive this, but car is way much understeering.

 

I feel sorry for those who use keyboard..

When I respawn the car ESC is off , even though it's enabled in parts section

Besides it is VERY HARD to find one

 

ESC have modes, default is off, but when you press Ctrl+Q you can change ESC modes.

 

Its useful, but I think default should be regular

 

Hey Raider! At highspeeds the spoiler sometimes bends a bit? Is this a bug our is that supossed to be like that?

Raider, I know that it was discussed before, but I think car control requires improvement. Because ESC (Ctrl +Q) doesn't help.
Maybe if you use a steering wheel then the control is good, but with keyboard...
Not everyone has a steering wheel (sadly). This is just my opinion.

 

@Raider Is there any way you can make the cars, not break their front spoilers and crash and burn when another one even just bumps one infront?

 

For me it works absolutely fine. Full throttle all the time without a loss of grip

 

I don't understand a thing. At the corners (sometimes on straight lines), my car just throws out.

 

Which ESC are you putting it on?

 

Sport ESC. But I tried all of them.

 

It is definitely much harder to drive than FR16, but I like the challenge.

For some reason though I can't get the real F1 skins to work. I put them in the Mods folder and they show up but when I try to load them they all just come up as plain white. Can someone help?

 

For me sport esc slides more, I drive with the normal one and everything is fine.

 

Drive with the Default ESC.

open the skins file and it should have one file called vehicle, click on it. then it should have FR17, click on it. then highlight everything in the FR17 skin folder and put it all into the FR17 car folder
FR17.zip should be in YourComputer_Documents_BeamNG.Drive_Vehicles
