So this is the Nordschleife map from WacKEDmaN, who updated it some years ago. He disagreed with the EULA, and because of that, took down the downloads. Little did he know that the EULA's copyright rule did not cover the forums. So I will reupload this legendary track right here, so anyone too paranoid to download from unofficial websites can enjoy it. And, although it works as a map, the map feels very imperfect. I don't really mind the graphics, but the collision "hitboxes" of the grass and the wall are quite awful. If you accidentally oversteer to the grass and back to the track over a curb, there's a chance that your tire will clip slightly into a pixel-thick gap on the side of the road and pop it. If you touch the wall, your car will stick there, no matter how soft and slowly you touch it. If anyone here knows how to create a map, and fix these problems, it would be really helpful to me an the many other people who have this map Thanks, and enjoy! http://www.beamng.com/attachments/nordie-zip.220160/
Maybe I will. The only thing holding me back is my slow uploading speed, and the fact that my internet constantly diconnects every now and then. It took an hour to upload this thing, and maybe more with his other maps I'll try though.
The best race track ever, but sadly the 0.9.0 update broke it. There are error messages about missing .daes and the car spawns in the gray void. I hope someone fixes this.
work fine to me ! make sure you have clear cache and if is not work delete the maps and try redownload and reclear cache
You're right. It works! Now I can test drive my Satsuma again on the Nurburgring. For everyone who have the same problem as I had: delete the Nordschleife folder in documents/BeamNG.drive/maps, if you have one and the map loads fine after that.
works fine here, no popped tires so far, only the sticky walls in most places (not everywhere!) One of the nicest driving maps out there so far!
