Italy progress

    These distant landmasses are absolutely placeholders that look pretty bad. I think it helps lend a bit of authenticity to the island to be a part of a wider world however so I'll probably mock some up properly in world machine and bake them out to low poly objects.

    I just got my workflow sorted from blender back into the game using world machine so I can test using all the materials properly. It still doesn't look like much but it represents some good progress:

    I need to do a lot of experimenting with these tree blocks to see how they perform but it looks pretty good for filling in forests.

    Small section of road with low walls produced in blender and exported as forest objects. Makes this a bit more interesting to drive now :)

    Added some more ridges to the mountain and changed the dirt road over to a nice winding asphalt one similar to those on the Italian coast:
