Hey, my depth of field isnt working, how to i enable it, in the settings its enabled but its not doing anything
@Dr.Balbarian Thank you sir. It is very kind of you to dedicate your time to write such a nice, well written little review. I will find the way to place it on the main thread post so everyone knows how awesome you are! What I did was just the result of a little "huff" I had with the game for years of failure to improve what I thought should be a very easy-to-fix part of the game. And it was. Didn't need any advanced knowledge of any kind to do it. Just looked for what I needed in the game's folder and replaced it. I couldn't believe no one tried it before. I felt quite proud, I needed everyone to see it, so I started sharing a few pictures in the screenshots thread and I think that's why so many users don't like me (their pics didn't look as good ). It meant "the tip of the iceberg" of the improvements this game can take (user-wise), but it was enough to show we shouldn't get accustomed to something we don't like in this game. Enjoy!
Hey @cessni , I really don't like your pack! It makes my fps go downhill and makes the game soo much worse! The -5 FPS or less is a complete lie!
Either A.) Your PC can't handle the upgrade of graphics, as it will pull FPS. B.) You have something set too high, or wrong. C.) You're being a troll and jumping on the hate train.
I have an RX 470 and 8 gigs of ram and i'm still lagging. His "Oh, it will never decrease performance" is a lie. Lol, -5 fps or less. At least say that it will take away 10-20 fps or more.
I have a 750Ti with 8 gbs of ram. Didn't lose a bit of FPS. It's all in the card buddy. Also, 470 doesn't have an 8gb, it's only a 4gb. 480 comes with 8gb.
I'm talking about RAM. Not VRAM. Are you talking about texture enhancements or the shader thing? The shader thing kills my frames. I don't know about the textures. And yes, I know that the RX 470 doesn't have an 8 GB configuration.
Instructions were not followed correctly. Nothing I can do. I appreciate all the feedback, but you don't have to use it if you don't like it. I'd say A and B 100% and probably a bit of C. I never said it will never decrease performance. But it can take more or less fps depending on your computer and your settings. For me, it's -5 fps or less. Don't make things up please. Wow! Those screenshots are AMAZING! Thanks for sharing and keep 'em coming! --- Post updated --- At this point, it's worth noting that cessni's 1.3 has always been and still is... - The lightest (performance-wise) - The most downloaded (close to 3,000 downloads) - The most realistic and game-changer - A completely error-free (no annoying error/warning messages) ...ReShade preset to the date for this game. And the only one released along with the first pack of custom textures and effects (made of real pictures) It is not perfect at all. Its major flaw is the day/night difference in brightness (mostly due to the lack of HDR in the game for now). Nothing I can do about performance. I invested a big part of the time "optimizing" it, from 1.1 and through 1.2, which were similar looking and much worse in performance. It's not like I just randomly enabled a few effects and it worked just right at the first time. This is the look I was searching for the game, and it took a lot of tweaking to achieve it.
How many FPS are you getting and what are your specs? --- Post updated --- I mean, I would like to use it but not at a horrendously slow 30 FPS.
I don't get it what do you mean with extract cessnis 1.3 files into reshade folder?! --- Post updated --- what am I supposed to do with the reshade folder?
