    Nice modpack! Could you share ressourcces you used to start working on it? What kind of software? Any tips you can give me? I am planning on working on a similar era car(tough RWD, engine in the rear) for my school finishing project, but i lack knowhow(tiny what i had(about vehicle configs for example) is useless due to the driving/transmission system update... I have access to most/all Autodesk 3d programs(Maya, Inventor).

    I didn't model this, you can ask @mike94 , I used notepad for Jbeam editing and you can use paint.net for textures

    Shouldn't a rotary engine have its peak power right at the rev limit?

    Not always, but the key feature of a rotary is that it is high revving, and this is. I did not make this torquecurve BTW, it is by @Otto von Biscuit

    usually a rotary reaches peak torque at around 60-80 percent of throttle with a steep increase as well as drop after the peak
    it has peak hp at the redline but the torque is what counts
