The 'Chair of Death' was the favorite chair of a striper named Thomas Busby, who was convicted in 1702 for the murder of his father-in-law, Daniel Auty, whom he supposedly strangled for sitting in his favourite chair after an argument about Thomas' wife, Auty's daughter Elizabeth. On his way to the gallows in 1702, he asked to stop by the pub and put a curse on his chair, claiming that anyone who sat in it would be haunted and soon die. It remained in the pub for centuries, and people were dared to sit in it. During World War II, airmen from an nearby base made the pub a hot spot, and the chair became a "hot seat" and people noticed that the ones who sat in it would never come back from war. In 1967, two Royal air force pilots sat in it, and while driving back, they crashed into a tree and died. A few years later, two brick layers decided to try it, and that afternoon, the one who sat in it fell to his death. The cursed chair has apparently "killed" every person who sat in it, no matter what. Some instances include a roofer who sat in it died after the roof he was working on collapsed, and a cleaning woman stumbled into it while mopping, and was later killed by a brain tumor. Eventually, the pub owner moved it into the basement, hoping that nobody would sit in it. However, one day a delivery man was in the basement and sat in it. An hour later, he crashed his truck and died. After that death, the landlord asked the local museum to take it. To ensure nobody sat in it again, they hung the chair five feet from the ground.
me on a serious note: Spoiler probably when i was once looking for a rc car (i was over a friends house) and i couldn't find it, so we went to sleep. i woke up, and heard this distorted noise and a bang, then i saw the rc car by our couch. needless to say, i never wanted to touch that thing again.
I certainly haven't seen a creepy thing before, but I certainly have heard something creepy. I was testing around with a nightlight at my grandmother's house with the flashlight on my phone when I heard this really raspy scream that sounded like it was right next to me. No, I didn't scream like a little girl, but I was freaking the hell out. It was scary and everything. Like, the area I was in suddenly felt really cold, and I had the feeling someone was watching me, so I hightailed it outta that hallway. (It was around 9:30 PM at night).
Elmo's world. --- Post updated --- Ghost be wanting to play with dem toys. :3 u ever find the remote?
A creeper in real life. I was walking down during Halloween night and saw a creeper It was creepier than the in game creeper
MY school likes to take us to remote places (sort of a school trip) and usually take us to a very cheap, horrible hotel at the side of the road. But this time they managed to mess the horrible hotel part up. this place, had no power or potable water. We had to lock the doors with planks and for some odd reason, you could hear voices comming out from the roof from 11pm to aroud 2am. (we assumed someone was up there with a radio). But on night, i think the third one, someone came up to my door and started knocking like crazy and yelling: "LET ME IN! THEY ARE FOLLOWING ME!". With no lights there was no way to see outside who was it, so me and my friends had to lie cold on the bed, actinc like if we where dead or something like that. When, whatever that was gave up on the door, they came up to the window and started looking inside. The curtain was transparent (sort of) so whatever that was could look inside the room. i was almost infront of the window so i could look up that really closely. It had red eyes, and a a really veiny face. Seeing no response from the inside, it gave up and left, to vanish somewhere on the hallway. We didnt sleep the last two nights fearing that thing would come back.
probably the house of seven gables. or the Salem cemetery. they both look really creepy in the winter months.
we lost it but all of our toys at that time are in my friends garage, so i don't really know where they are.
