Minecraft Baseball Stadium Ver .40 Beta is here! Obtain! Here it is, it is the save file so stick it in your saves in .minecraft - Saves Yes, i have released the stadium early due to request, here is the stadium complete with rows, seating, field, dugout, video board and much more! However the stadium is very incomplete as concessions, clubhouse and box seating is not available yet but here you go to be creative with! I will be finishing up the stadium and will be releasing patches as well! As tdev says "Stay tuned for more updates!"
Of course, mod it at your will! In fact post pics of your mods to this stadium, Id love to see peoples creativity!

What is special about minecraft-style or voxel games ? every newbie developer is trying to make a voxel based game nowadays.
Everything below is my idea, don't argue. Minecraft was something special, developed by a lone man with great ideas. He wanted to please. (For the money or otherwise) now the market has been saturated with minecraft copies and notch has left, and now minecraft has lost it's visionary. It's like Steve jobs/apple. I'm not saying minecraft is horrible, or notch is terrible or the copies are terrible, but the main leader has left and the others are for the money. Some are good though. Debate or not, just be calm.
Mostly because Voxels aren't used that much in AAA games, everyone uses polygons, even though voxels can be pretty useful. If you can create a good real-time engine that uses voxels rather than polygons, you can make amazing types of games with it... Doing something different(different from what AAA titles do, I mean) is just appealing to a lot of indie devs, and I don't blame them really. If they succeed in creating a good voxel engine then other companies could get interested, which could get them a big bag of money, I guess... Btw, Minecraft wasn't using voxels though, right? afaik they're just polygons, otherwise the blocks would be visible from all sides when a world-hole-bug occured? Imho Minecraft was a great game when it started and still is. Few issues I had with it was that Notch wouldn't "fix his game" as quickly as I would've liked when a huge bug was found or so, but I loved Minecraft in it's early stages and played it days on end. Then Jeb started developing, and lots of features that I thought were absolutely epic were added, and some that I didn't like or even hated(new terrain generation, hunger-bar). Those last 2 made me stop playing. However, I think Jeb did an amazing job, and made the game much better in a way. The main problem was that it just wasn't what everyone(including myself) liked about Minecraft anymore... Lots of people just liked the simplicity and creativeness of it all, but with all the elaborate additions, the focus became more on the "game aspect" than the "creative aspect". Some people like that, some don't... Cool map btw, shame detailing is so hard in Minecraft, would really benefit from tiny details I guess I should load up Minecraft again some day, see if there's anything cool to play with in all the new features... I heard there was some new redstone thing added, and I was addicted to figuring stuff out with that EDIT@Below: Oh yeah, had that on our server for a while. That was epic. Shame it wouldn't work 100% stable with industrycraft and buildcraft etc :/

Wow, this is one of the greatest things I have ever seen! It combines my two favorite things: minecraft and baseball! Maybe someone could create a mod where you could play baseball on it! Maybe there could be a baseball which is thrown like a snowball, but can be caught!
