    how do you download the variety mod it says i dont have permission

    Variety mod was discontinued and no longer works. There have been several game updates that broke it, and NinetyNine!, the author, no longer supports it. Otto von Biscuit made a partial fix that allows some parts to work, it's called VM Fix.
    That being said, this mod probably doesn't work anymore, due to it's reliance on old parts from Variety Mod that no longer work.
