Ohhhh....

 

With a fully stripped out covet on low rolling resistance tires, with the 1.5 sohc fuel injected engine, I went 18.6 km (11.5 miles)

 

I did it with the pigeon and removed everything that you can remove

 

16,6km with the 3.0d from the ETK800, 6 speed manual, 100-120km/h all the trip

 

Driving a Burnside Special Custom and got 4.3 km in 35 km/h cruising speed.

 

I got 11.2 with a SBR. I'll probably post some more later on.

 

Why not just make it into a scenario? Would make it more interesting. Since going downhill you need to slow down and such. Would be more sensical IMHO

The old Pessima 2.0 Liter DOHC I4. 10.2 Miles never letting off the gas.

Hopper 4.0 Liter I6. 5.3 Miles never letting off the gas.

D-Series 5.5 Liter V8. 4.6 Miles never letting off the gas.

 

Pessima coupé

• Back seat removed
• low rolling resistance wheels
• pumped to the maximum
• efficient manual 5 speed
• set cruise control to 58 kph

 

I'm quite proud of this result, albeit the car is no longer drivable in everyday conditions:

I took a base ETK K, stripped most of the suspension components (steering, shocks springs, brakes), interior, and radiator and other non essentials. I pumped low rolling resistance tires to the max and gave it a 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine. I drove it at 55mph in 6th gear, keeping it around 1.5k rpm and got 60mpg and traveled 15.5 miles. ba-bam

 

Erm...the S-Series don't have the option to change the fuel tank volume...

 

I traveled 5.2 Miles in a completely stock I-6 RWD D-Series (the one with the plastic bumpers)

I was cruising around 35 M.P.H in 3rd gear at around 2300 RPM.

My second attempt was pretty much the same except I remembered to put the tailgate down and this time I got 5.3 Miles!
