Haha, wrong. Even if that's hyperbole, those vans aren't slow - especially with the 4.0L SOHC V6. OT: I will probably mod this for myself giving me that engine.

Well it isn't even the power that makes those vans pull hard, even past 60 MPH. They've only got 251 hp and 259 lb-ft. It's the gearing that the 62TE has. It has really short gears for the first three, keeping the van in its power band from 5000 to 6000 RPM, and 4th gear is a long gear from third, but it still pulls. I can't wait till I can drive it.
