WIP Beta released Rusty's American Drag Pack 1.4

minor anoyance. theres no 3 speed glide. the powerglide is only a two speed and the th400/turbo400 is a three speed

also sometime the tires on i believe the 15x8 just insta break if the wheel decides to stay on

 

That's not my mods problem, i don't have any Gearboxes on my mod called TH400 or Turbo 400. Also, my mod doesn't add any 15x8 tires/wheels. So that's a problem of another mod conflicting with mine.

 

sorry I meant 15x18 sometimes they just fall off cars for no reason even just sitting
but there is nothing that exists as a ''3 speed powerglide" the powerglide is a two speed and two only. what the 3 speed should be called is a th400 since that IS what is used in high level drag racing for a 3 speed trans

also the 15x17 wheels will sometimes clip through the brakes on cars
those are my only real problems, other than that its great

In the recent update the hopper lsx engine jbeam has some errors with the slots.

 

When i try to use the PowerGlide Gearbox i get a Fatal vehicle exception, any idea of what it can be?

 

All of the engines for the hopper are messed up and sound like the LSX now..

 

Hey I just download the 1.4 version of the mod and whenever I try to use the barstow with the both of the powerglide transmissions it says fatal vehicle exception if this could be fixed it would be a great mod

 

Really? Thanks for letting me know! People like you is what we need here in the community!
I'll fix that for next update, for now i'll label it as Unsupported.
But you can still use the engine parts at your will.

 

I don't understand why, but every time I use this mod and floor it in one of your cars, the engine immediately explodes from an "over torque risk" even when I barely hold down the accelerator on my controller.

 

Thanks, do you know when the next update will be out. I really like the mod and can't wait for it to be better.

 

'Flooring it' and 'barely holding down' are two very different meanings, I'm guessing you mean to say whenever accelerating, slow or fast, the engine explodes from over torque, no?

 

Yeah, that's due to a mod you installed. That mod is called Better Engines. It's an awesome mod don't get me wrong, but you should disable it because it just lowers the durability of the engines a ton, that's why they commit suicide when you "barely touch" the throttle.

I don't have any idea when it'll come as i've not touched BeamNG in almost a month. But i can start working on the gearbox issue in a day or so, and get it solved.

Yep, they're not messed up, that's how it is. Engine sound grouping doesn't work at all, the devs removed it.
The most i can do is remove the sound all together.

 

why is it unsupported?

 

Until i can launch the next update, it'll be marked as "Unsupported" simply because one of the main focuses of the mod are the Powerglide gear boxes and thanks to @bully hunter 77 , i got the info that they weren't working. So untill that, and other problems are dealt with, that's how the mod's going to stay. (not long, i hope i find the time to fix it, and make an update)

I've started working on it yeah, but i haven't had any time to fully work on it.
But just to keep you in the loop: so far only updated the Barstow, and added a new car to the pack that is not american *wink wink*

No such thing is possible yet. If it was i'd already be working on it.
Also, i'm kind of taking a break from BeamNG, don't know when i'll be back....
