Problems with skin creating.

    So i recently made a skin. I followed the tutorial on "Introduction to skin system". I did everything it said. My skin shows up in the skin selector. But when i select it the car doesn't change to that skin.

    change .dds file to "hatch_skin_monster.dds"

    and get rid of monster folder in hatch just put them straight into hatch

    Ok i did that. The skin loads in right except this happens now.

    You need another subfolder called "materials" to put your materials.cs and your dds file in, so it doesn't break the Covet's materials.

    No, please don't do and suggest that.
    His materials.cs will override the original one like that.

    Put everything back in your 'monster' folder.
    Then you have to fix this:

    As your .dds is inside the 'monster' folder, but here it doesn't say so.

    Ok, thanks! Everything seems to be working, i just need to figure out how to make the car white by default.

    add the skin to a config, make it white in colour selector and save

    Yes, though you need to set it up as an official config, with an info.json and a thumbnail.
