The Monster Jam Nashville show reminded me of something this truck needed physics wise: Better Acceleration. I say this because a driver can literally tap the throttle 2 times and get 30 feet of air easily. I didn't take that into notice till last night. The trucks maybe 10,000-13,000 pounds, but 1500 Horsepower can send them sometimes 40-50 feet of air. Example:
I tend to use a color balance edit, then hue edit on the diffuse map in GIMP. Basically, if you're starting from the stock silver chassis, turn up the amount of one color so it's bright magenta or cyan or something, then dial it closer to what you want by editing its hue. Retains the shading while still letting you change the color. Then you'd need to either overwrite the chassis texture (Would be called something like chassis_d.png.) for that skin or edit the the materials file so the skin references whatever your file's called. Save you some time:
Thanks a ton! I'll make sure to start as soon as I can. Real life stuff is getting in the way a lot and I can't find the textures for the life of me Last thing, hopefully; how does one convert a map from RoR to beamng, as I found a few tracks I would wanna do :^)
when using the transport tires, the drive shafts seem weaker. also, i used them going over obstacles that usually pop the terra tires and they didn't pop. also, @acapaldi and @FLyInG 2 YoUr SoUL, may the classic bigfoot skin be renamed to Retro Bigfoot Stripes?
Hey, I have been meaning to message about this but just never got the chance until now but I have the latest CRD and Addon pack but I still am unable to find out how to put the sponsor plates on? Am I missing something?
Converting maps is very hard from what I've been told. I've wanted to convert some too, but it's a long process of map files and renaming.
