Ragdolls would make the game more realistic when I drive the truck it looks like a ghost posses a car and starts destroying himself. It would be better for people to be added in the cars and you can customize them Female Or Male Hat Shirt Pants Shoes your choice. If you cant add these in the game I will be fine with it. Camera View seems a little bit annoying for me I use a laptop and I checked how to move the camera it says to just move the mouse left or right but it doesent seem to follow my order when I move it left it doesent turn move right doesn't turn just stays in that camera angle. Oh ya about the people they should be ragdolled when they hit themselfs really hard like if they flew off a ramp and hitted the from of the car they should be ragdolled and get a little bit of blood on there most hitted area. Like it Think it would be good? Thank you for reading this BEAMNG.Drive Developers.
Making a ragdoll in game wouldn't be too hard. I don't know about getting it to work inside of vehicles, especially since interiors are just props.
They are working on more cars and you could ask the admins or modders to model a person in the vehicle
From searching, it sounds like placing a driver inside every vehicle will never happen. Too much work, out-of-scope, vehicle physics first, etc etc etc. Understandable. I imagine that someone will release a "crash test vehicle" at some point.. with (NON-ANIMATED) node/beam characters inside. ..Solo driver version.. family-of-4 version.. I love seeing the golf bags from Sevennemesis' golf cart go flying on collisions..
Ragdolls would be fun, head on, seeing them fly, or rolling and seeing them fly, or falling down a moutain on insane testing, watching them fly. Watching them fly would be fun also.
Ragdolls and blood on the hood of the car? Oh man that's nice, blood splattered in the interior? oh 5 stars. Blood everywhere? Its freaking house of horrors!!.
I don't want blood. It's not that I can't handle it, it's just that it serves absolutely no purpose in the game,? and just raises the "rating"(I don't think the apply to the traditional rating system, do they?), putting off younger customers. I just think that's not the direction this game should go.
Geeze, if you want blood and guts and breaking people, then you should play GTA. This is an entirely different breed of game, it has a lot more to do with the vehicles and simulating them, you don't see Train Simulator with rag doll blood splatter, or Ship Simulator with blue-faced passengers floating about the Arctic, or Flight Simulator with halved people where your failed landing attempt put you on the Vegas Strip. I think it's the same general idea here too.
Blood and guts could benefit if the software were used for educational purposes. What better way is there to brainwash people into driving safe than by having them simulate a devastating crash and then analyze the mangled mechanical and segmented biological specimens. The game is perfectly fine without it but having such an option would be really provocative and I would embrace it.
But how many people use BeamNG for educational purposes? I know I don't, I mindlessly plow cars into things and hit reset when it stops driving, and judging by everyone's YouTube accounts, I'm not the only one who does.
Using that logic, who uses a calculator for math? I mindlessly sit and create ascii tits all day. Wait, what. BeamNG isn't 'for educational purposes', unless of-course you can prove it.
This thread. I swear this community will turn out awesome and I will the the omnioverlord in 10 years.
Well I plan to be the double-omnipotent overlord of everything in 5 years. I'm too impatient to wait 10 years. xD
Dunno about you, but I use a calculator for maths (and writing boobies of course, I don't have a fancy schmancy graphic calculator, just segment display) Or they could carry on with what is already done by showing photos of real crashes.
