Im looking for some since I am bored, and plus I love racing as well! It has to be free, usable by 360 controller and not too old. ( By that not bad looking. )
RaceRoom Racing Experience isn't bad, it's free on Steam. But you have to buy some cars and tracks with real money.

>car games for free Not many out there. Either you go pirate, you go with ROMs for old PS2 and PS1 games, or you go with SLRR 2.3.0 or Raceroom. There isn't much beyond that.
You could play some Older games exept for Steam and stuff. I got a free PS1 Emulator and I play Gran Turismo 1-3 once in a while. I can send a link if anyone wants.
You could try Live For Speed, it has a free demo (the only catch being you only get 3 cars and track), aside from that it looks nice and is rather fun for a bit. Otherwise there is Dolphinity Racer, a free open source sim which has nice graphics but may take some fiddling to get it to work properly. There is also a number of mods around the interwebz. Also, if free could be interpreted as really really cheap, there are a number of games on sale via Steam that can be had for only a few dollars.
You made me discover dolphinity racer. Thanks. But do you have any idea how to make it work on ATi cards?
Not too sure sorry, your best bet would be to try and find if anyone else has the same problem/a solution.
Scratch.mit.edu . A completely cancerous site filled with terrible members and stuff, but there are racing games there, and it's free... I've got to stop giving horrible suggestions. Don't go there.
Trackmania nations united. It's basically a lite version of trackmania. I never really got into it though.
