I can't downshift the D-Series on controller, but "z" works fine. I've disabled all mods, and reinstalled, and verified the game files. Any suggestions?

Does downshifting work with other vehicles using the controller?

Yes, it's only the D-Series I have issues with. I deleted the pickup file in the directory and verified the files, but that didn't work either. If you are wondering I am using the Xbox one elite controller. I also tried rebinding the button to no avail.

Is it in manual, realistic mode?

Yes, as "z" works fine, but none of the buttons I bind downshift to work on the controller

You may have a broken controller, but I'm not sure.

Did you bind some 'vehicle specific action' to the same key to down-shift?
If so, that would make that key first do the 'vehicle specific action', than down-shift.

You can check within the Controls menu.

The only vehicle specific action I have is the tailgate which is bound to "o"

Oh I found the issue. It was my controller cable. Changed that and it's working now. Thanks for the suggestions though guys. Good to see such a helpful community :)
