Suspension issues (probably a dumb question but thanks in advance)

Okay, so, first thing I should say is that I am, well, technologically inept. Anyway, I decided to modify one of the moonhawk's already available to me in the garage and, for the most part, it worked! Only problem, now the suspension is so soft it's basically jello and I have no idea how to stiffen it. I've checked all the options in the game to no avail, I've looked for editing software only to find one that is a broken and buggy mess and a second that is way too complicated for someone of my skill level. After that I found that one can edit a .jbeam file and that would work; however, the .jbeam file is still in a .zip folder AND I have no idea if this is the correct .jbeam file. Last thing I want to do is wreck my game, so, if anyone has some helpful advice, it'd be appreciated! :D

Try running your game in safe mode.
If that doesn't work, go into the "tuning" section in vehicle customization.

What changes did you make? Did you remove any parts? There is only one stock suspension for the Moonhawk.

I honestly can't thank you enough, while running in safe mode didn't work, opening up tuning showed me that my suspension had mysteriously disappeared, adding it back onto the vehicle let me modify it
