Absouletuly no audio. [RESOLVED]

Hey guys, I had an issue with my computer when I disabled my integrated graphics. I have got my PC running on MY GTX660, with all the cables plugged in. The game is no longer picking up my audio device. In "Audio Provider" I only get the option "null". Same with Audio Device. My speakers work with everything but BeamNG. My speakers aren't disabled, they are defaulted, and I already ranthe updater and cleanup.bat ntohing is working. Please help.

im guessing you've done this, but have you looked/updated your audio drivers?

Yep it is up to date.

Did you try CTRL+O, Maybe that's the problem.

Have you looked at the playback devices to see whether windows can see your audio device?

(Right click on the volume icon in the taskbar, then select playback devices)

did you install nvidia's "hd audio driver" when you installedf the driver for your video card? when i did that it messed up my sound card driver

Actually, this issue only happened when I changed to my Nvidia. This is a detailed picture of what I mean. I really don't want to go back to my integrated. There is a noticeable difference.

alienware, yeah, i found your problem, alienwares are horrible


anyway though, so everything else sends sound just fine? try re-installing drivers

The only 2 programs without audio are BeamNG and War Thunder. Also, this PC is actually very good. I can run BO2 @ 200 FPS on everything high.

yes, but the overheat extremley badly(some people have litteraly had there's catch on fire from the heat), AND are way way way overpriced

then it's a problem with driver's, or the games themsleves

I'm guessing you have checked the BeamNG sound options.

My PC case cost £15 and is sturdier than the alienware aurora a mate has which is a pretty poor start to such an expensive machine, but then they are dell PC's so its hardly surprising

Havent heard of any PC igniting for any reason other than electrical shorts (usually within the PSU). Have heard of the CPU socket melting before though.

Guys, I fixed the issue! . I messed around with my audio and the device manager and a new option popped up in audio provider. Thanks guy for your contributions.
