    EDIT
Figured I'd release the caddy as a WIP. I'm happy with how it goes, turns, brakes and breaks. It's still not textured but I think it looks good for now.
I'm sure there's a ton of things you guys will find wrong with it, and I'd love to hear any suggestions!
    Have fun! :)

    /EDIT

Hi all, working on a golf caddy/cart, loosely based on an E-Z-GO TXT.

It has a 36v electric motor with lead acid (heavy) batteries. Solid axles with leaf springs on both ends, still need to model the shock absorbers. I've gone for realism as much as possible, with the movement of the suspension leaves and linkages. Brakes on the rear only, like the real thing.

For fun I also added the code in from the covet's 1.5l engine with modified gear ratios, which makes it... interesting... to drive. I might make an engine/gearbox model for this too before release.

It's probably about 60% there, the chassis drives well and the modelling is almost done. Next things to worry about are N/B for the roof, seats, bodywork etc., and proper texturing. Then I need to tune the beams to make it crash properly.

Also planned for after WIP release: Batsh*t crazy power super doriftu version, offroad version, caged version.

I started modeling a lawn mower, but then quickly lost interest. I only got part of the hood and a rough start of the frame. Maybe I'll pick it back up.

    Mmm, progress.

N/B is/are done for the stock version. added a removable aluminium cargo box at the back.

Now I'm working on an offroad version with quad bike tyres and a 6" lift:

This Caddy is getting me even more excited for my pc build. I'm thinking a demolition derby between yours and Sevennemesis' ;)

For a nice skin I think it would be neat to have that pure white texture with a BeamNG logo-influenced livery. You could really utilize the light blue with stripes and modern shapes of some sort. Just a way to make it really stand out.

    Re: Golf Caddy

Hahaha earlier this year I worked at a golf course and drove an EZGo TXT around quite a bit. When you adjust the governor screw they can go pretty quick, but the throttle gets really touchy, basically becomes an on/off switch. Anyway, looks very correct, gonna be fun to beat the hell out of again but virtually.

    Looks great, well done!

    Also very fun to drive!

One thing though, it seems to weigh quite a lot for a Golf Cart? (659 kg)

Yeah, the real thing weighs ~425kg with batteries. The body nodes can't, as far as I'm aware, be made any lighter without screwing up the physics, and the batteries themselves weight the right amount.
