What happened to the Bolide?

i have considered many times to make the floorpan narrower and fit the body of another car onto it, e.g.

 

That would totally work on a widebody car. I would like to see somebody make a go cart body and put it on the Bolide without a body. The bolide without a body and big beefy tires is extremely fun to drive and take the corners.

Eh, i use it sometimes, but i use the sunburst, SBR4, both the ETK K and 800 series. im kinda a modern car type of guy. still appreciate old cars like the bolide tho.

The bolide is a good car to learn how to race in. Low CoG, fast, and no assists. When you combine this thing with a racing wheel, its a force to be reckoned with.

 

I just wish the bolide had more aggressive aerodynamics you could put on it and maybe a more powerful engine to help it keep up with the turbocharged cars then it could go from being a good car to a great car.

 

The 390GTR is very competitive, and with the scudaria pack it has lots of downforce

 

Sure it's not too lacking in downforce(at 100mph approximately 100lbs on the front, and I'd say 50-150lbs on the rear compared to the hillclimb pessima which has similar front downforce but about 300 lbs of downforce in the rear at 100mph) and it has a healthy 400 horses but that's still a fair bit less than cars with the stage three turbo maxed out, and balance wise that isn't a good thing for when campaign rolls around. I feel like an aftermarket forced induction system for it would be good for making it more competitive, a bit unrealistic yes but otherwise the bolide wouldn't serve much of a purpose for its assumed price.

 

Forget the bolide? It's the S Series everyone's forgotten....

Wait, the S Series is in beamng?

Yeah it is, it's likely the most under appreciated cars in the game, granted its the only modern sport coupe, the most expensive in game and one of the fastest vehicles, it's never used, ever, check YBR, he hasn't used it ONCE since the video for it, as for the FrlzErls movies, try to find one in em, yeah, no one requested ONE

We shouldn't just ignore and forget a car that has been in the game for less than half a year, honestly, it's becoming the new moonhawk, under appreciated for what it is, ignored, and now the moonhawk, may I say maybe the car that deserves this place the most along with every sedan in game, is getting more attention than a ETK newer than the 800 yet used less than a Drift Missle Grand Marshal...

BRING BACK THE S SERIES IN BEAMNG AND YOUTUBE, OR ELSE IT WILL BE THE NEXT DRY ROCK ISLAND

What about the Nomi K series that was released a few days ago?

 

That's A mod, one soul mod, all lonesome, there are more mods released for engine sounds this month then for the K Series ALL TIME

I didn't check, but I'm sure I'm right

 

The K series is alright but the bumpers on it are plastic and everytime you drive on a bumpy road, your bumper gets destroyed. The K series had no teasers or hype before it and it just was there.

There are K series mods like the wide body kit but if you have noticed, no bolide mods (yet)

What happened to the K-series?

It seems to now currently run through my mind that it is relatively the least used car in the game (besides the Bolide).

It extremely keyboard friendly, a perfect mix between oversteer and understeer and just all round good handling.

So how did it fail to meet standards of current use today?


I remember a while back when this thing was on the devblog. It was midnight and I was hyped to see the K series and I liked it. Everyone in community screenshots stopped taking pictures of it few days after it was released and mods stopped after a week or so. I think it fell because there was no thread, teasers, pictures, or anything of the sort before it was put into the game. Typically the cars that get used more often are teased and get their own pictures before release.

 

Well, am I'm the only guy here who uses a S-Series as my default car?

I have another theory....

It got a lot of hype as it was a new supercar, but, honestly, it was overall trumped the the SBR4 and Bolide because it was the new kid in town, nothing too special about it
