Or when their policies backfire by leaking out their own personal habits. No doubt we will see some change then, even if it is more likely to be forcing even more censorship rather than dealing with the problem itself.
So yeah apparently Gabester likes the idea of "grinding" and "progression" in games so i can guess there could be mechanics like this in BeamNG's career mode.
Yeah, when you save up for something for a long time, that makes the whole thing better and more worth it. Like playing 40ish hours in ATS and finally earning your first truck with all the addons you want (as a level 8). Thank goodness Gabester aggrees.
It does get annoying and fustrating though when you hit a "brick wall" and can't progress because of a hard ass race or lack of in game "credits"
Gabester is one guy on a fairly large (or small by game dev terms, but still) team of people. I doubt he calls all the shots single handedly by himself, especially when they are in the process of hiring someone to help them with developing a narrative and gameplay design.
the robe I am wearing currently has a hole in it in the same exact place that kid from "The Polar Express" does. You know, that movie with the train drifting on ice scene? could've used some Eurobeat in certain parts, but good movie.
When I first played ETS2 sometime back in 2012 or whatever, it didn't take very long to progress, but it was still satisfying. I bought ATS on release date and was pleasantly surprised to find that it took a while to get money. This made the game very satisfying of course. And then of course, some sort of glitch due to the mp mod gave me millions of dollars and ruined everything... I looked for a way to get rid of all the money but found no good way to do it. Maybe I could get some mod I could spend money on and then uninstall it. Anyone know a solution?
Haven't tried it, but presumably you can change how much money you can have by editing the save file. From a quick google there seems to be ways of editing save files.
Last time I looked, I found nothing about editing files being possible, although I was sure it would be. Looks like I'll have to look some more. Thanks
Yeah but doesn't mean the rest of the team agree. I had an idea about how a particular bit of code should work and was overthrown by team leader and senior engineer. A few days later it turned out I was indeed right, senior assumed we must be incompetent at doing his original plan with how many bugs were spawning, then he looked, saw we executed it fine, there's just many oversights in his plan. What did he do? Tried my idea, what's going into the production code? My idea. The other junior. Twice he's had large scale ideas on how something should work. One of those has still not been done as it breaks mvvm rules and he himself now sees how poor an idea it was. The other we did pretty much immediately. Ideas in a team. They should always be discussed. But sometimes that's as far as they get
Just thought of this... if there was this more community edition version of this game (official, no mods, uses community ideas), I wonder what that version would be like if every idea that doesn't already exist as a mod and isn't copyrighted was put into the game. Would it be a glitch pile? Would it be filled with completely bad ideas? What would it be like? Or even the Bad Idea edition: For those who just like bad ideas... what would that be like? Odd questions you can think of.
It would be horrifically bad. Thousands of half baked ideas that don't interact with each other properly. It would be 100% feature creep filled which would make it super laggy and cause architectural issues as there wouldn't be enough time to implement them all. The game would probably stop running altogether fairly quickly.

I had a Galaxy S2 with touch wiz. Sure, it completely changed how the OS looked but I didn't notice it ever slowing the device down. So I would say it would be far far worse than that.
Just found out there was a milk carton in the glovebox of the zafira and it was dripping... Leaked into the cloth, through the gaps in the plastic behind the "leather" wrap and into the carpet. Fun.
