If it handles anything like the 2014 version I'm staying the hell away.....I'm definitely curious though!
it's a great game, but it's not much fun since there isn't much driving to it... I prefer to mess with configs in Bng... wish parts would be further broken down tho like they are in mechanic simulator
today is my day! @NinetyNine! you have given me good luck! It would be a pain for me to download though.
I meant, the controls etc. The 2014 version was very clunky and unintuitive, getting to smaller parts was a pain in the ass I hope they've improved since then
I've been looking at the description and trailer and found some interesting things: Spoiler: long list 1. Official mod support for extra cars, maps, music and liveries. 2. Interior parts can now be changed/repaired. 3. More testing tools for more things like batteries and shock absorbers. 4. More official brands including Pagani, Jeep, Mazda and more (including ones from CMS 2015). These will be DLC. 5. Future Xbox One and PS4 port. 6. Create your very own car with a Car-Editor mode (like Automation). 7. Matte and pearl paint jobs. 8. Ability to buy brand new cars. 9. Engine crane to reduce need to lifting the entire car to work on the engine. You can build engines on the crane, too (like My Summer Car). 10. Doors and windows are now separated (same with rims and tires). 11. Improved physics (since the cars were too slidey in CMS 2015). 12. Different work garages you can upgrade from. 13. Parts can be stored in a warehouse. 14. Customizable license plates. 15. Generated missions from CMS 2015 and some story-tied missions. The game looks really fun, I liked playing the 2015 version.
i've been playing 2015 for a while, now, and while the camera is a bit annoying sometimes (similar to the beamng camera before they made it so that if you moved it the game would stop trying to autocorrect it) once you figure out the nuances of it, it's really not that bad, i haven't played 2014 though so no idea if it's better or not
2015's camera was better than the 2014 one but it still had some issues. You could right click to drag the camera around but you had to click on the parts (or places were a part would be) to move it to where you need for removing small bits.
