Upon installing it says that it doesent find the update-someting.exe. I press cancel on that and it says that the game is done installing. I press finish and it tries to start the game but then i get the error message: Excecutable not found: BeamNG.drive.x86.exe and then i cant start it again if i try. I get the same message.
    Any help?

Rename your updater from updater.exe.exe to updater.exe and open the file.

Your anti-virus or firewall is probably blocking the updater - maybe try again with those disabled?

I am having the exact same problem!

However, Disabling Firewall, Antivirus and running as administrator does not fix it.

This really needs to be fixed!

Here is a thread i made about my personal investigations into the problem : Update-Exe-FATAL-ERROR

My problem is the hash of the update.exe ... According to the log file.

Yeah! That works. However, It appears not to be the up-to-date version of the game.

Yeah, I wish they would upload a newer version of the game on the temporary fix. And no need for misguided sarcasm, I was just making sure you knew, because it's outdated-ness is my only problem with it. I would like to be able to update something i paid good money for.

But I am still happy because I still get to play the game. Even without all the bug fixes and additions that have came through updates.

Or actually make a permanent fix for the update, I really hope that comes out sooner than later.

At least it will probably be fixed eventually.
