Maybe most V6 Engines would be boring and anemic, but what about Buick's 3.8L? That thing beat the Porsche 930 when Mclaren modified it and dropped it into a Grand National.
It would be nice of course, the only thing is that a new engine mesh takes days and days to achieve properly with textures. Also this would be even better in a real Gran National mod. But as a custom engine it would be nice indeed. We'll see those kind of things later.
Truth be told I don't think there has been a modder in the entire history of BeamNG that has gotten anywhere near $150, for anything. Perhaps future plans by the devs will pan out and some of these artists can actual make a rent payment AND buy a pizza.
Yikes ! Holy S#\T ! What happens to your grandfather's one? was that after a storm ? Thanks ! All of this work is not done to get donations, though they are appreciated. It's a long term project, the more the game gets new features and game modes, the more we could imagine things to do with them.
Actually the gas saving wouldnt be giant because the less powerful engine would need to use more power to move a giant car like the olds is, so the best way to save gas is actually put a engine that has power enough to move it in the low rpm range , so the redneck would be a little disapointed but would be aweasome to have low powered engines to deal with a heavy car like this
Notice: Before you use any of the dragsters, please, for the love of god, turn down your volume. My bass speaker didn't have a very good time yesterday...
--- Post updated --- This is probably an issue with the new sound system and settings, i didn't checked the Dragsters since the 0.10 update was released. I will look at it. EDIT > indeed, now the dragster is completly different and messed up in terms of volume. Idle sequence with angry V8 sounds revving is very loud, and then engine is quieter when we accelerate. So it has to be completly adjusted.
