What cars occupy different parts of your area? In the powiat of Puławy, Poland, it is: Town center - 2000s and 1990s subcompacts, family cars (mostly diesel wagons) and cargo vans, 2000s semi trucks with trailers, Mercedes Sprinter shuttle buses (both generations) from the nearest depot, brand-new German fleet cars (compacts, midsizers) and luxury cars (fullsize), Vistula bank - 1990s cars of all segments, 2000s wagons, sedans and subcompacts, a few brand-new compacts. Some redneck country cars and nice brand-new ones at the commercial area. Projects - most people commute on bicycles, some have early 2000s cars and SUVs, a large portion of which is RHD and on British plates. Gentrified suburbs - subcompacts, compacts, midsizers and executives, from early 90s to brand-new, all well-maintained. Also a few new luxury cars (e.g. BMW X5, Volvo S80 T6, Mercedes E-Class). Mostly German, French and Japanese midrange cars from the last 10 years. Mildly gentrified suburbs - as above, but with much less new cars. Ungentrified suburbs - 90s cheapo subcompacts, compacts and minivans, varying from "OK-looking" to "complete beater". Ghetto - 1990s and early 2000s Fords, 90s and 2000s German luxury cars, 2000s Peugeots, Hondas and Japanese volume manufacturers. Some are RHD and with British plates. Commuter belt - 90s and 2000s family compacts and midsizers, 2000s subcompacts, 2000s SUVs, 90s and 2000s vans, fall-of-communism-era Japanese off-roaders. Some new cars in the better areas. Commercial area - vans, from the 90s ones, to brand new, mostly Mercedes Sprinters. Redneck country - highly depreciated 90s and 2000s cars and vans, plus 90s Japanese cars, VAGs, BMWs and Benzes, all in varying stages of beaterdom. Kazimierz Dolny & Nałęczów - commuter belt cars, plus brand-new German luxury cars driven by local businessmen and Warsaw yuppies. Also some brand-new vans, operated by local businesses.
In America, especially the middle of nowhere, which is where I live there's a lot of pickup trucks. Really just anything to get through the harsh winter roads and just about everything else. 2017 Chevy Silverado 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty 2017 Toyota Tundra 2017 Dodge-Ram 2500 And you see a ton of these in the winter, (not really a car, but the amount of snow here sometimes makes this your only option) 2017 Arctic Cat Thunder Cat 2017 Ski-Doo 850
Town center: Any car, usually in good condition but mostly boring suvs and sedans. Rich 2000000 house area: luxury cars like bmw and a few GT's Chav area: Old audis, bmws, many uninsured cars and cars that are broken Suburbs: Same as town center Industrial estate: Trucks, vans, 2000's cars in fairly poor condition for workers there
Here there is a wide range of cars, from straight piped 20 year old Honda Civic to brand new Ferraris on occasion. I have seen a few Lamborghinis here too. Cars up to $120k though are everywhere.
North side: mostly industrial pickups, really, any car that was made before the Chevy logo became gold instead of blue East side: more SUVs, minivans, luxury sedans, etc South side: more commonly older condition weathered cars, no luxury vehicles, just basically rolling scrap West side: mainly downtown, usually some luxury sports cars, often taxis and lots of Lincoln town cars
There are usually a lot of new cars around here, primarily Japanese and American. A lot of 2000 American cars are here, especially out of town. There are mainly minivans, pickups, and sedans here. Not that much special cars here, but you see Corvettes and Mustangs a lot here.
new cars such as honda's, Hyundai's, and Toyotas. the occasional classic vehicle, 90s and newer ford pickups, late 90s dodge cummins because diesel, and square body and newer chevy trucks.
Main City - Mostly BMW, Mercedes, Audi ect (all 2013-17 models) My suburbs - Same as above, but with a Lambo, Ferrari (any exotic) seen very often Outer suburbs - Suburu, some JDM cars, with a few mid 2000's junkers Uni district - Toyota Camry's everywhere
I live in a small country. These cars occupy the whole country. They're Perodua Myvi's'. The left is the pre-facelift 2nd gen while the right one is the facelift one. Of course, you will expect to see a lot of Honda HRVs, City's' and Jazz's'.
There's a wide variety of cars to see in New York depending on what region of New York you're in: In the projects: Average chav-mobiles, as well as a few tuners and muscle cars. I've even seen an AE86 around here. Average areas: Wide variety of 2000s-2010s cars. You might even see the odd Mustang or classic muscle car. Upmarket areas: Mostly 2010s cars. Most common car: Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Don't be surprised to see Porsches and Maseratis.
In my city you find a bit of everything everywhere, Its actually strange to me that there are certain parts of your cities that consist of 1 main type of vehicle.
Town center, you get basically late 90's -today sedans, hatchbacks, and SUVs. At the high school, you see nothing but 90's through 2005 sedans and hatchbacks. Outside of town (in the big neighborhoods) you see anything from 2010- Lincolns, Jaguars, Porsches and even a Maserati or two. Most of the cars are either sedans or SUV. The farther out you go the more pickup trucks. I'd say that there are definitely tiers in the cars, ranging from the lower class, middle, and then upper middle/ lower upper class.
Some trucks, some C6 Corvettes, and on occasion a chrysler sebring or a scion -and miatas at least in the part of town where i live. And downtown, lots of old boats and run-down civics with the rare mustang, and bad parts of town, any old Crown Victoria/Ford LTD is the most common thing other than cadillac.
