My dads NZ assembled 6g Civic doesn't feel that cheap. Mind you it used some New Zealand made interior bits.

My driving instructor owned pretty much Honda's exclusively. He said the ones he had that were made in Japan were very reliable and well put together, he said the ones made in the UK usually had a few issues and rattles.
I Doubt his sample size is large enough to come to a conclusion though.

What do you guys think about the Turbo Soul? I think it can compensate for Honda removing their V6 from the Accord. (or was it the civic, I have a bad memory)

I honestly don't think the accord and soul are close enough for it to compensate even if they gave the soul a v6. And even if you say turbos can be a replacement for displacement (they can't) the soul only has a 1.6l i4, making a kinda sad 201hp and 195lb-ft. The Accord v6 made 278hp and 253lb-ft. Accord 0-60 was about 5.6 to 6.1 at worst, the turbo soul is 6.5 at best.

So in short, I disagree the turbo soul compensates for anything, but I do like it over the normal soul.

Even if you install a turbo on a trash can, it will still remain a trash can, albeit fast.

Pretty fun, mine is a Peugeot fanboy, a bit like me. We had great fun talking about olders Peugeot, new designs and the 403.

    -Edit-

That's a hell of a car for 3k... 406 coupé worth nothing right now. If anyone is interested in a beautiful sporty coupé it's the car to go.

My cousin has one of those, and it's quite nice from what I've seen. Seems to be quite fun. Not sure about reliability though.

My aunt has one. From what I remember, it had no particular problem. The only problem it had was that the mecanism to open the gas cap once broke while my aunt lent the car to my mom. I must say it was a bit expensive to repair.

My grandads honda Jazz is holding up well and i think it was built in the UK (swindon plant i think?). No rattles or noises but the ash tray (removable) sometimes vibrates a little bit when the A/C compressor kicks on (and the resultant raise in idle RPM). Otherwise all is good, apart from some reflectors on the doors but they fell off soon enough, not needed at all though (like the things you have on a bike, it was stuck on the side of the door, we opened the door quickly (raining) and it just flew off :p.
