He hopes to get it out before September, so probably in a couple of weeks. Otherwise, when it's ready.
I totally respect your suggestion, I just found it amusing to call the RV an Old Ham. So, should I base it off of the existing BeamCom skin?
Welcome to the thread! Take a look through some the last couple pages. I try to give progress reports every day.
No, Oldham as in Oldham crescent. One of my sets of grandparents lives there. It is pretty nice. It just sounds right for the name of an RV company.
Ah, thanks for the clarification. I thought you were making a reference to part of your username (Bacon).
There are quite a few more things planned for this mod, but I'm hoping to get the Alpha release out within two weeks.
Good work man. Don't let all the kids get to you, been seeing how crazy they've been spamming the thread. Just keep chugging along like you've been doing and make the mod you want to make.
Sounds great, I wish you luck! I'll be sure to keep updated. And while I'm at it, you can include my 7.7L V8 and transmission in the configs for this truck if you want, just add credit at the bottom or something. Find it here https://www.beamng.com/resources/h-series-engines.2532/
Thanks! Would having that engine bundled with the RV cause conflict with people who also have your mod installed? All of the external lights are properly illuminated!
It shouldn't conflict, as long as you only have the source code for the engine/trans in the .pc file. But for those configs to work you would need to have everyone download my mod, so I guess you could link it and state that you need it to have some configs to work. Or you could release a beta group and release a version with my mod bundled with yours to see if it conflicts. If it does, then you could just link my mod in the mod description.
