I know this isn't really an original mod (sorry DrowsySam), but I've slightly updated the old Rocket Bolide mod for those of you that still use it like me! This is my first time modifying a vehicle in any way so if there are any problems just let me know. I updated the body so that it no longer deforms like the Bolide from 2013 that the Rocket was modeled after, added a 6th gear and tuned the gearbox to match, added the 3 engines from the newer Bolide, and added newer parts that deform better. Hopefully you'll notice the difference! Once again, all credit to DrowsySam and Gabester. All I did was move around some files and rewrite some JBEAM if you guys have any issues or suggestions tell me, I'm really new to this and don't have much of a clue as to what I'm doing! Just thought I'd see if anyone was interested in using this I'm currently working on being able to set different paint colors, so if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. Nice. I've never even made a mod and I hardly ever comment. I'm new to this as well. All I'm even here for is to download the mods.
To actually help you, this mod is pretty old and hasn't been touched for a good number of game updates. What that means is that it no longer works. A good rule of thumb is that older mods are likely broken and if you have problems with them, that's why.
hey i love this mod, but can u make it so that i can turn left? --- Post updated --- also could i possibly fix it without having to edit your entire mod?
Hi, you must be new here. Let me explain it before people come in and crucify you for commenting on a dead thread. Usually, if a mod hasn't been touched for a few months, or the creator hasn't been seen for a few months, the mod is deemed "dead". When a mod is dead and no longer being updated, people get really upset when others comment on the thread that hasn't been replied to in a few years because it brings the thread to the top of the list when you are searching for threads. This is called a bump. Forumn users hate bumps. As for this mod, the original user hasn't been online for over a year so the mod is definitely dead unless DrowsySam decides to bring it back to life or someone else gets his permission. The reason why it doesn't work right is because as the game gets new updates, the mod still uses older game pieces (like jbeams, textures, or wheels), causing bugs. In order for this mod to work in the current version of the game it needs to be updated to use the new game's components.
If you want to turn left, go to controls, list advanced, and then assign "f action" (or something similar) to your f key.
