My grandfather might have a pretty good idea. He is big racing fanatic, he even used to sponsor a stock car. He should have some engine stat information. --- Post updated --- My grandfather knows some people who should have precise torque curves.
Ive got nothing for torque curves as I have never even seen the dyno sheet for the modified in my profile and it was a 364, not 358. Also have no idea for idle rpm, pretty sure its between 1000 and 2000, probably somewhere close to the middle-ish. --- Post updated --- If I had to wager a guess though peak power would be somewhere around 8k and it would start dropping off around there
For Wayne Petersons fail cars of all people. I mean, someone explain how this thing was even allowed on track at Madison last month?
Here's a dyno sheet I found for a Roush engine --- Post updated --- Here's two more I found, there isn't much of anything NASCAR-wise. Short track engines yeah, but nothing else --- Post updated --- For the record I'm a short track guy, so some of the top level nascar stuff is a mystery to me lmao, I'm not a wizard. Ask me stuff about a modified, late model, or super late model and more than likely I will know it lol
Also not sure if you were planning on putting a sway bar in the rear end, but if you were there isn't one, just front
damn, I'm 16 and can't figure out blender XD there was one Nascar thread but that mod died, hopefully this one doesn't, I always thought the D series was a good base for a Craftsman Truck
If it makes you feel better I'm 17 and I can barely do anything in blender, most I've been able to do is delete parts of meshes, rotate, and resize to port cars into the Simpsons Hit and Run
is there any way you can get a hold of some information because i realy want this to be done properly with all the proper engine stats and torque figures
I'm searching to find you info on the torque curves etc but I am not finding anything hopefully RealPoptartBacon's Grandfather is able to save the day.
Doughnot worry, comrade! --- Post updated --- Does this help you at all @matty1080 ? I can ask to have it in a different format if you need.
No no that should be just fine Its only the numbers i need so the current format is ok Thanks so much You are amazing And so is your grand dad I will make sure to put your name in the credits list for providing me with this Because as everyone else has clearly found out like i did A copy of the torque curve simply isnt anyware on the internet Thanks again --- Post updated --- Not shure when the next update will be I have been buisy with school
Thanks! I'm glad that I could be helpful! I could probably help you find other information too, if you need.
