Theu are very special cars. Some look like H-series van but smaller than a covet. Others are big brothers of go-karts. They will be good test subjects to show how dangerous old heavy cars, or even new well-designed modern cars can be...
Thanks for correcting me. In where I live in, even automotive magazines call them (the small ones) K-Car. Probably because English is not our 1st language, or the blue car was never sold here.
Nothing to do with english. Kei is the actual japanese term for it. To refer to it as K would still be incorrect as Kei is pronounced closer to the english word key rather than a hard static K.
damn. K-Cars are ugly. OT : A Hirochi would be nice as a kei car. Could be a mixture of all the modern kei cars you can get atm.
not all of them are. Not all of them even look like that one. Kei cars are simple. They are small and can only have a maximum of a 660cc engine with somewhere around 60hp.
http://gran-turismo.wikia.com/wiki/Lightweight_K-Car_Cup_(GT3) I doubt a Japanese company would get that wrong.
Looks a bit too long in length and too short in height. Maybe because the picture is streched on my screen.
Hi, I can help you guys by writing some of popular kei car's name in japanese daihatsu move (ダイハツ ムーブ) daihatsu hustler (ダイハツ ハスラー) daihatsu mira(ダイハツ ミラ) suzuki wagon R (スズキ ワゴンR) honda N-BOX (ホンダ N-BOX) suzuki lapin (スズキ ラパン) nissan minicab (日産 ミニキャブ) daihatsu mira (ダイハツ ミラ) daihatsu hijet (ダイハツ ハイゼット) mitsubishi minica (三菱 ミニカ) useful words below interior/内装 or インテリア engine/エンジン diagram/図面 gauges/メーター hood/ボンネット crash/事故 repair/修理 I hope this will help you when you look into japanese kei cars! (sorry for poor english)
That's because the cars in the K-car cup are not kei cars. Anything with a length of 3400mm (and engine size over 660cc) is too big to qualify as a kei car. I'm sure the Gran Turismo cup has nothing to do with actual Kei cars
Kei car (in Japan at least) have 4 wheels. Therefore, 4-wheel mods for the pigeon does make it a Kei car.
