Why is are the menus so slow always?

    Depending on the amount of junk running in the game the menu takes from 1/2 second to up to like 20 seconds to register a click..

    The game runs fast my pc can handle max settings @ 30fps and normal @ 60 to 80fps. But if the game is moving the cars at 60fps in the background the game menu still take 3 seconds to register clicks.

    I'm running i5 6600k and gtx 1070 with SSD.

    Noticed this as well. As in game vehicle count increases menus get progressively slower. With no mods active it isn't a big deal but It gets worse with lots of mods active.

    noticed that aswel i pres ctrl w and it takes a full 10 secconds to bring up the menu

    We are aware of that.
    And that for some users, these delay are pretty big.
    There could be several reasons for that.
    We are looking into ways into improve that.

    I have noticed I think one time it happened when the menus were sluggish for me but I think its okay now for me

    Glad to hear it's something that's being worked on....often I will want to change cars or settings but i'll just stop playing because waiting for the menus is such a waste of time and totally stops the flow of having fun.

    I do indeed have this issue, even with no mods enabled. Ctrl-E takes about 30 seconds to nearly 120 if I have any other program open :/

    I've noticed that's happens only with Material Design UI. Maybe you can add "Themes" option that changes Material to original one, this could be temporary solution until you fix that I think.

    Well, in 0.3.X.X versions (when in game was original ui) UI was not lagging, so...? I don't want to say what exactly in that versions there was no lags, because all is changing with time, maybe new cars, or improved physics somehow affect it.

    Ah, that does not count.
    The UI is pretty different from now (Not only by 'look')

    Not really a good testing ground considering 0.3 was a long time ago and sense then, the UI process was separated from the main game.
