    There is plenty of room for 2 additional bench seats to haul the whole family. Or just leave it empty for maximum hauling capacity.

    Trying the newest audio system. I'm using soundgroup on my engine jbeam and the audio blend file that is recently put out from protected zip file (thank you devs!).

    Working on sound mod is now considerably easier because if you know the RPM that your samples are playing, you just type in which RPM they are supposed to play and the audio blend file will do the rest for you. No more tweaking maxpitch, pitchBlendIn start and end value, volumeblendin and out start and end value, etc to make it decent sounding.

    Mine doesn't have any visual parts though.Looks like yours is the exact opposite. I can't make 3d models, so I'll gladly let you release it instead of me.(I can also help with the powertrain jbeam)

    Mine's just about finished. Just need to fix up some texture glitching on the unpowered version rear rear axle and the front differential (which the model may change). And some texture stretching with the front transfer case.

    The node beam editor. Broken and outdated since the day it was first packed into BeamNG. But atleast it can still add nodes, create beams, and fill in collision triangles.

    why do you have to torture yourself like this.
    about time when I learn to adjust jbeam properly

    it crashes nasty and many parts are still unfinished, but the knowledge will help with later projects.
    I still have no idea if I'll ever release this car
    also yes, that is the old AdR's model

    Here's my take on I4 sound using the new audio system. I have a custom 2.5L engine on the Sunburst so I can use the new method.



    I'm still undecided what to do with the rest of the cars that I don't have custom engine on. Should I make a new one/replace existing engine so that I can utilize the new system or continue using sbeam method. The new audio system is really nice to work with.

    I have found an old Blend file on my hdd. Originally I modeled this Audi for RigsOfRods but I hadn't much time in the last year, so no development. Now I am back at it.

    Was really surprised that this held itself up in game;

    (The cab mesh right now will be replaced with the mesh I made to go alongside the new body JBeam.)
    Reason why I say that is because I don't think it's attatched to the frame at all, Unless I am unaware of some stuff the nodeBeam editor is doing. I will be taking a closer look shortly to see what's up with that.

    My first attempt failed outright last night, so I scrapped that and started with just the old apache cab again. Looks like that was a good choice.

    More like one beauty queen and one track car. Unless you were trying to reffer to them trying to kill you, then both of them fall under that category :p Keep it up!


    OT; More progress. I finally got the new body JBeam somewhat attached to the frame via a few beams in the back. However overall the new body is way too stiff. This thing should kinda crumple like a tin can when rammed with a Burnside, and it doesnt even budge. I will need to spend some time in Notepad++ on this one.

    Hopefully I wont need to spend much more time in the editor beyond the back doors, as for I have decided to save what I can of the existing JBeams of this mod.

    On another note, I need to remake the new models since I got way to carried away with the polycount in basically every single place, and the flow was just horrible.
    But I'd rather do this than have to use the editor all the time.


    Just a question here, but is there a better option to edge split in Blender? I need straight clean edges in some places but EdgeSplit can cause issues with models being made for BeamNG due to the fact that, as the name suggests, splits the edges at angles above a certain threshold.

    Fun with CVT's
    never run out of gears (if you give it enough) when doing J turns and the like
    just slam it into reverse or forwards and off you go
    DEVHINT: If you don't tell what gears your CVT has it goes PRNDS21
    with S,2 and 1 being 2, 3 and 4/1 CVT gears which doesn't do anything or make sense so with cvts you still need
    the line

    in vehicle controlers
    PS: I made it so you can switch the diffs between viscous, lsd and locked :p
