This looks awesome! No wonder you have so many ratings.

 

I really am so excited for this new upfit! Looking at all the progress made, and comparing this to the camper trailer stuck on an H-Series chassis. Hopefully I can figure out to make a personal skin with a Jayco paint scheme that isn't copyrighted.

 

I'm glad you're super excited! Even if your skin is copyrighted, you can still release it on the forums. It just wouldn't be allowed onto the mod repository. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Most likely. I'll check for you later today. Currently, it can easily fit the Gavril Barstow with room to spare. The toy hauler config will be based of of the longer 27ft version. You should have more than enough space.

 

I will make a repaint with the brand "Bayco" for the mod repository forums and I will make a "Jayco" one specifically for here.

In case I haven't mentioned it yet, you guys are more than welcome to create mods for this mod. If you feel up to the challenge of creating your own interior or something, go right ahead.

The initial release will be labeled as "Alpha". This mod is still under development, and will continue receiving major updates that add more content and refine existing features.

Why am I releasing this so early before it's completed? In two days, my schedule will be completely filled. Instead of working on this 4 hours a day, progress might slow to 1 hour every 4 days. Having something released will keep me motivated to continue working on this. Otherwise, the project might die. I've made too much progress and hype to let this project fizzle out and die. Besides, would you rather get something still under development now and have it updated every so often, or wait maybe a year for something completed that may or may not die in the process?

I don't think you can copyright a skin unless the skin is the company logo in which case yes it will not be allowed on the mod repository, all you have to do though is change the design slightly, think of GTA 4 and GTA 5 they do it all the time, a slight tweak to a design and your free

For example you can slightly change the size of the windows if the copyright is for design, if it's for the logo you can slightly change the design of the logo, for good example check fake Apple iPhones on eBay and see the small differences

My mod bears a sharp resemblance to a real TC2000 school bus except for the lights a different shape, copyright avoided

 

I will definitely try that out. @EcoNadder77 do you have the template to put the repaint on?
I will also try to include CRVA or Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association stickers placed throughout the RV's exterior. Hopefully it won't be a problem.

 

The skin UV map is at the bottom of page 22. It's not the best, but it works. Is that what you are referring to?
