Do you see his expression? He's screeching in agony... he deserves it Melania (or whatever she's called) looks like she's getting ready to be in a shampoo commercial....
Yeah, glancing at an eclipse isn't gonna hurt you. I looked at it a couple of times. The picture is still funny.
Decided to rewatch the E3 for fun and noticed this That's not his real name is it? If it is I want to change my name into Pink Floyd....
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272816495767 Does anyone know what that style of writing is called, my sister has her christening on Saturday and the post would probably be too slow on that item so I might have to do it myself... What is that style called first??
I got to see the eclipse in full totality at 10:18 AM yesterday in Salem, Oregon...and then my family and I had to sit behind hordes of Californians for 4 hours...jeez, that was a little crazy. It was, in the words of a local newsman, "like 10 football games all letting out at the same time". Oregon's two-lane highways certainly weren't built with eclipse viewings in mind.
So I the eclipse as a good excuse to go on a short road trip down to Oregon. All I knew before I prepared for the trip about an hour before I left is that I wanted to camp somewhere at Detroit Lake. Left at around 7pm and arrived sometime past 3am. Original plan was to camp in some clear cut off a logging road, but access was restricted so we camped in a fairly large pullout off the road. I'm going to assume it was legal since there was no trouble. In the morning, we headed down "NF-46/Clackamas Hwy" until we found a spot we wanted to see the eclipse. Total eclipse was great. Ended up on the old highway (30) on the Columbia River where all of those waterfalls are and saw a few. Then went all the way to Seaside on the coast and proceeded to Long Beach (very thick fog on the beach at the time) Considering that the whole trip was extremely last minute and very loosely planned, everything was going very well. Too well. So of course the van's fuel pump died just as we turned the corner at the junction of 101 and 4. Despite being 6 hours away from home and no services for 5 miles, it was a very convenient place. Very luckily, my dad was willing to come all the way from Canada to rescue us with a trailer. We ended up home just before noon the next day only about 12 hours later than expected, which considering the situation, is not bad at all. The trip was certainly worth it and it could've been far worse. Nice thing was that the only time we ran into heavy traffic was the section of road between Cannon Beach and Seaside. (And the I-5 in Seattle because it was morning rush hour on the way back home) I was expecting a lot more traffic.
Someone needs to photoshop that with him staring up at the top of his (not real) wall. Am i the only one who really likes the upcoming Eclipse Cross?
