Alright, lets try to focus back on development.

I'm cleaning up some rough spots in the rv, and working on a separate car-towing attachment. I'll share pics later.

A stripped down derby version would be cool. Say something like this.

I agree with you on the suspension. The first time I tested it Heavy Duty struts were installed so it was VERY stiff. In a combination of a few Top Gear videos I saw where they hooned (is that the term?) a similar RV it had the same amount of body roll as in the RV with only lifted struts. Plus making this an RV and not a cargo (same as you mention), means you have to have a softer suspension setup. If Medium Duty struts don't provide much of a harsh ride and are more driveable then why the heck no? But I still believe that it should be very soft
About the engine, this is a subject where I agree with you that it's too strong but the thing is that this 4 ton RV needs more torque. And without a diesel engine that's the only way to get more torque. Especially if you don't use the High Stall torque converter. You see, if you use about half throttle (which you mostly do with this type of vehicle), the transition between 2nd and 3rd draws a lot of power on the Heavy Duty converter. Which further explains why I recommended to use a stronger engine at first.
If you can (use a controller or pedals if you have any) and drive it normally and see how it goes. Take it on a "road trip" with hills and bumpy roads and highway sections but drive like an RV should to test it out. That's what I did when I tested it and how I came up with these configs.

I did test it with my g27 wheel and it seemd ok. Yes it needs more throttle input if you suggest it to accelerate but when crusing you can stay at 70mph with about 60% throttle.

+ you have to keep that in mind that we are trying to be realistic. This camper is based of some sort of chassis cab H-series (that's why it is a dually) so it can't have a light duty suspension setup on the front. The caravans you see in europe and the ones you saw in top gear are based of normal chassis cab vans like renault master and fiat ducato. They can weigh max up to 3.5 tons as no one wants to get a special truck license to just drive an RV. This one empty weights about 4 tons so It needs to have a heavy duty suspension. In europe it would be something like renault mascot camper.

Also, since this is based of the chassis cab h-series (maybe a medium duty dually config) it wouldn't have a supercharger from standard and from what I know companies that make RV's just redo the upfit and the cab, sometimes they change the rear suspension if the upfit is too heavy.
Yes, most of the campers are diesel, but from what I know and from my quick google session, in US gas powered RV's are a thing (look up haggard garage with their ford e350 camper van with ford 460 engine).

In Europe you can't even get a gas powered van from what I know :D

maybe you could turn the rv door into a "cargo door" so that it'll open when you press that command

I understand your argument regarding power. Which I agreed with on my last post. My approach is to at least use a 5.5 N/A and if that feels a bit underpowerd use a 4.5 stage 1 s/c (take also into account that the 5.5 v8 ingame is kinda underrated in terms of torque - 474 n/m in a 2001 5.4 ford instead of 364 in a Gavril 5.5)

Since I helped make the RV, @EcoNadder77, I'd like a picture of my avatar on the wall with like a plaque that says:
    "B727THEAIRLINER
    CO-DEVELOPER
    "

Nonetheless, good job on the RV nonetheless.

Um, aside from providing me with suggestions and feedback, what part of this mod did you actually make? Nonetheless, I'll consider your request nonetheless.

Wow, 3000 downloads within 31 hours after the release. Thanks guys!

Sorry in advance if I'm doing something wrong but I'm relatively new to BeamNG. I downloaded the .zip folder, pasted it into the mods folder and unpacked it in BeamNG. However the RV variant doesn't show up as a Gavril D variant. Does anybody know what the problem is?
    Thank you for your help.

You aren't supposed to unpack it. It's made to go into the following file structure:
    My Documents/BeamNG/mods/vehicles
It'll then appear under the Gavril H-Series configs if you do it correctly.

Thank you. For some stupid reason I thought it was a modification of the Gavril D... It works now. Fantastic RV!
