Can't open menu and low fps.

Escape button doesn't work when i try to open menu and to close it and fps is very low. In the main menu and on all maps I have 23-25 fps. I ran the game in safe mode, cleared cache and verified files.

 

Have you tried re installing the game?

For now I'll try to reinstall beamng then I'll contact someone who knows better.

You must have a dual core processor with no HT, right? The beamNG UI us a seperate application, and uses a different core. When you put something else on that core, the menu runs super slow. It's slow no matter what, but putting load on the cord with that process make it significantly worse. There's not much you can do there but upgrade your CPU.
About the ESC button not opening the menu, try pressing Alt+U to hide/unhide the UI. If that doesn't work, press it again, then reset the controls, as you might have messed with one.

I can't find where he said it ran well before, could you point that out?

 

It ran pretty good before. I had 50-60 fps and everything was working fine.
And I have Intel core i7 4790

oh it did not say it ran well before i read wrong, but i was still right =)

 

Reinstall fixed the issue.
