In Wasilla, AK: J-bodies, though usually at least 3rd gen. Mismatched panels, grime, rust, and occasional damage are common. 2nd gen models like mine are rarer but do occasionally appear. 1990s and early 2000s compacts and subcompacts in general often show up in the drive-through with mismatched panels, wrecked interiors, vaguely ungood noises coming from the engine bay, and unusually loud idles which probably indicate exhaust damage rather than modification. Surprisingly, some 1990s and 2000s luxury and near-luxury cars (Mercedes & etc.) can very occasionally be spotted making the same noises and sporting other signs of damage & cheap repairs. As you would expect, trucks make up a large percentage of the beater population here. There are a lot of redneck & dirt-rider type teenagers & twentysomethings around here, who tend to end up purchasing and beating the snot out of trucks. Also a lot of older people who need a truck for whatever reason and don't particularly care if it's pretty or luxurious. Older trucks (70s & 80s) tend to be owned almost exclusively by the older people. They're usually sporting a lot of rust and possibly some body damage, but they just refuse to die. Certain 4x4 SUVs can also fall under this category.
