IS this outdated or something now? As i tried it and my game looks super washed out. Turned off SSAO but still looks washed out. http://prntscr.com/gd41ms Could anyone help me? I really want to see what these shaders look like!
Really? Ok, lets break this comment down cause I can't deal with so much nonsense at the same time: 1. "IS this outdated or something now? As i tried it and my game looks super washed out." No, genius. You just happened to load literally the worst map you can try it on. It's meant to be used in realistic environments, not in white grids. 2. "Turned off SSAO but still looks washed out." SSAO won't change a thing because it has nothing to do with this. 3. "I really want to see what these shaders look like!" Well, that is why you have lots of pictures and a video on the main post, so you know what you are downloading. Before. You. Download. It. C'mon guys, tell me you're joking.
Yeah but I think you btw should add more comparison screenshots showing the effects of the reshade in different env (like jungle and desert) and w/ different car colors and tell us your bng's graphic and post FX settings... Anyways, because I absolutely don't want missunderstandings, I'm absolutely not saying this guy is right but that if you want to avoid this kind of problem with this kind of guys, I advise you this way to do it...
I'm afraid I don't have time to do more screenshots, so I always welcome others'. If they are good enough for me, I will place them on the main page and give credit. I understand what you say and I thank you for the advice, but obviously there is no secret: my game's graphic settings are maxed out and I have standard PostFX settings. What you see in the pictures is what you get, guys. If the images were in any way not achieved by just maxing out the in-game graphic settings, I would be just plain dishonest for omiting that information and not telling you how I actually got it to look like that. The only reason I didn't mention this on the main page is because I think it's redundant information. But they are just untouched .bmp screens taken with ReShade (Print Screen Key). Hope I made it clear.
Yeah but maybe the conversion from bsp to jpg/png is lossy and/or maybe the beamng and/or reshade screenshot systems use some kind of very discrete post fx but even if it's the case I don't see any difference... Or maybe he have the problem of nvidia gpus w/ srgb profiles... But anyways he had to read correctly the post... For doing screenshots I'm honestly too lazy to do it but you maybe could make a "call" in the community screenshot thread or create a new thread for a competition of the best screenshots taken with your preset and your special beamng settings... BTW talking of beamng settings I think it would be stupid to put them all to high because my cpu (pentium g3420) is struggling to keep a stable framerate but I will upgrade shortly to an i5 4670 with 8 gigs of ram instead of 4 so if I'm not to lazy to change my reshade preset files, why not ! (by shortly I mean I will receive upgrade parts and upgrade my pc after tomorrow ) ps : what postfx have you enabled and have you dynamic reflexions to max
I actually meant .png, not .bmp (it's been a long time). No, there is no difference between the picture in the screen and the actual screenshot taken with ReShade, that's a very twisted assumption. I already made a couple threads about best screenshots, but didn't get too much involvement from other users. There are no "special BeamNG.drive settings" that I use, as I -very clearly- have already stated. As I said already too, my PostFX settings were the default ones. Maxed out is exactly that, so yes, I had dynamic reflections to max when I took the pictures.
my game is a little bit washed out even when i set Use_Vibrance to 0 is there any thing i can do to improve it???
That will make it look more washed out because you're disabling vibrance. Have you already tried setting Dynamic Range from "Limited" to "Full" in your nVidia control panel?
Hello, i cannot adjust my gamma! It is too bright so when i try to adjust my gamma it does nothing at all. it changes nothing
When I try to download it, 7zip acts up and won't let me extract the files. Is there a version somewhere that's just a regular .zip rather than a 7zip file?
