After seeing bloonpops awesome unreleased 200BX skins I figured I should try to make my own, they aren't the best resolution as my GIMP skills aren't the best, however I will be making better ones once I learn how to properly downscale images. (The skins look much better in game then they do in my crappy screenshots.) NOW TAKING REQUESTS! Rockstar Energy Need for Speed Red Bull “Mad Mike” Hatsune Miku (With Hood) Supercheap Auto (With Hood) Mememachine INSTALL: 1. Download zip file from attachments (you can only use one at a time) 2. Extract coupe_d.dds and coupe_c.dds to a temporary folder. 3. Open coupe.zip in beamng.drive/content/vehicles 4. Copy coupe_d.dds and coupe_c.dds to /coupe in coupe.zip 5. Let me know what you think Designed to work with the Turbo Drift preset with the carbon fiber hood BE SURE TO BACK UP coupe.zip!!!! BUGS: 1. Skins are flipped on each side (If someone can teach me how to re map the texture I can fix this) 2. Minor clipping and stretching due to the way the model is. Credits: Tom999 - For cleaning up the Rockstar and Redbull skin. [Itasha] Ricky - For the Hatsune Miku graphic. Google Images - For logos/sponsers.
Re: 200BX Racing Skins He mentioned he uses Gimp, too (first post) You can fix bug 2 with re-uv mapping the texture of the mesh (for example in Blender I think.
WHO IS RICKY!?!? I NEED TO KNOW.... NOW "Designed to work with the Turbo Drift preset with the carbon fiber hood" will this work with mods?
Ricky is a talented artist who is currently working for the FBI and details about him/her are classified. I made the skins using Dummiesman's 200BX ricer mod, so its compatible with that, I havn't been able to get D-Troxx's custom 200bx to work (because I don't have DX11 and im stuck on the fallback build), however if it works for you (or anyone else reading this) it would be helpful to know.
That Miku skin is awesome! Might have to learn how to retexture in BeamNG to make some itasha's of my own! c:
