I do feel rusty haha my job is to fix cars haha im a mechanic i built my pc im using now, the shit one apparently, i want something to run beamng basically, internet search/browse, my current pc runs GTA SA fine and GTA3 fine, i just need some thing newer i guess, budget wise im not sure, it have to get the pc over a period of weeks and buy separate parts as the funds become available.

Re: What does everone have under the hood? Meanwhile my laptop has got 2GB of DDR2 RAM and a AMD Turion x2 @2.2GHz CPU (don't let the higher frequency fool you, it sucks hahaha) and still runs pretty smoothly opening and closing browsers and windows, just don't try to play a game......

I use Euros cuz I live in Portugal but i will quickly use a converter and give you some guidelines xD So: An Entry Level computer I consider to be around £500 with everything, including Windows, more than fine for BeamNG on medium/high I would bet. The Sweet Spot I would say it's around £800 making it already a pretty fine computer, once again, Windows included. A Enthusiast computer is something around £1200 (about what mine as worth when i bought it with all the extra parts and etc.) A Top of the Line machine would be around £2000, with everything you could ever imagine hahaha. Those are my standards
Re: What does everone have under the hood? In USD I consider $500 to be bare bones, $800 is fair, $1200 will be awesome, $2000 is top-of-the-line, $3000+ is multi-monitor crazy. If I could build with no budget I had a parts list for a $5000 gaming PC along with a $60,000 compute station.

Re: What does everone have under the hood? i never got a computer especially for this type of thing but, here you go: windows 8 64-bit toshiba satelliite C855 (non touch screen) with intel core I3. i have to turn all the settings down exept for texture quality (i think).

I'm not saying your computer is bad, it's a damn fine computer o: All I'm saying is that what he meant with 'multi-monitor crazy' as a PC that was capable for driving 2-3 screens in all games maxed out... Also, Battlefield 4 looks good but it's not that intensive and only gets quite intensive with everything on Ultra.
