    Hi All,

I noticed that some default vehicles have a lot less parts, and customization options than other ones, for example, the Burnside.

There's very few stock parts or tuning options. For example, I want to tune the final drive ratio on the transmission - not an option in the tuning section of the garage.

I know it is possible to go into the .txt docuements for the vehicle data and modify the car that way... but it's very inconvenient. I think there should just be a more standard default tuning options. For most vehicles, the tuning options are mostly just suspension - a lot of cars apparently dont have any control over the gearing of the transmission, unless you install a race transmission.

The Burnside doesn't have any parts options like a race tranny that allow for tuning in-game in the Garage. I even did a quick search to see if anybody has made mods for the Burnside - there are few extra body options, but no extra parts or performance options, really.

So basically i have to either make my own mod by hacking into the .txt. data for the car... or just be stuck with a top speed of 120MPH in the burnside. The car has so much more performance potential, but it's dated transmission holds it back. Just a "rear-axle" that gave it a little higher final drive would be nice, but it doesen't exist.

What should I do? I know a lot of people are going to tell to just make a custom Burnside and release it as a mod... maybe I'll do that. but i really wasnt wanting to do that in the first place...

    1. Download DJPlopper's Mega Pack - it has lots of new parts for all cars, and custom configs included.
    2. Take the V8 (or I6 or V8 Tow from DJPlopper's) and tune it as you want.

Well maybe this could serve as an opportunity for you to learn how to mod. Making variables is quite easy and you can have a lot of fun with them.
