No idea but in general, if your qindshield pops out in a crash, It's most lilely because whoever replaced it was sime shady dude that didn't do it right.
I think the windshield breaking and slightly coming off, making a rubbery windshield that moves around would be waay better
Having glass physics like in burnout paradise would be awesome. Where the glass procedurally breaks and not all at once
you know what a detachable windshield would be good for? preventing it from stretching in a completely unrealistic and glitchy looking manner. which happens pretty much every time you hit something at high speed. glass doesnt stretch like its made from rubber. just make it really difficult to detach, but easier than what it takes to stretch the windshield itself.
I think they SHOULD make the front windshield come slightly out, or make it break like the all the other mirrors.
In modern cars we use tempered glass in the passenger and rear windows... and Laminated in the front windshield. Tempered glasses goal is to break into many non-harmful pieces... while Laminated is the opposite... its made to stay in one piece. So yes, I think the windshields should fall out as well... instead of them just being part of the car... and I think that the rest of the glass should break off into particles ... making crashes not only more realistic but also dramatic
Im not saying like full on 3D models... just 2D sprites like sparks that fly off when said glass breaks
And your arguement is invalid, because, it's a known fact that the Bel Air in that video was altered and was severely disintegrated underneath, including the supports for the windshield.
