Hello everyone! I bring this idea before you today because I love offroading/mudding. I just wanted to know how hard it would be to add a feature such as this. I also want to see the ability of deeper mud in the game. This game could be the best offroad game I have come across yet! I know that someone is going to tell me to just go play Spintires but no, I know this game is superior. This game gets regular updates and all that good stuff. But now that I'm really far off topic let me just ask if its all possible. Thank you!

    Tony K.

With Focus interactive publishing Spintires, there will probably be annual paid updates....

Deformable terrain along with soft body physics and everything else is probably beyond the performance limitations of most people's computers.

This has been suggested many times over the years. Unfortunately, the underlying Torque3D engine was never
designed for ground deformation, at all. This will require a monumental effort by the devs, probably necessitating
a huge engine code overhaul that could take years to do right.

That isn't to say the devs aren't working on it, we've been pleasantly surprised before:cool:.

Since his method most likely uses terrain brush modification, the size of the map would determine how small the mud ruts caused by the tires will be. Unless of course that is just material painting that works that way and does not affect brushes.

I'd imagine it's either legit JBeam dirt, or it's a vehicle spawned in similar to the inflatable mat textured dirt with weak deformation properties, either way, it's legit
